Information We Collect

We collect basic account information (such as your email address) required to authenticate and provide our service. Your payment information is securely handled by our Merchant of Record, Polar (polar.sh), and is never stored on our servers.

How We Process Your Data (Architecture)

Advantora Insights utilizes a hybrid processing architecture to ensure maximum security:

• Structured Data (CSV, XLSX): Queried locally on your device via DuckDB WASM during spreadsheet analysis. Raw row-level calculations run in your browser, while saved workspaces and generated outputs may use secure cloud storage.
• Unstructured Data (PDF, DOCX, Images): To perform OCR and document analysis, file contents are securely transmitted to our AI provider (OpenAI) via API.
• Metadata & Prompts: Anonymized column schemas, your chat prompts, and aggregated numerical summaries are sent to our AI providers to generate code and insights.

Third-Party Sub-Processors

To provide our service, we utilize the following enterprise-grade sub-processors:

• Vercel: Application hosting and Edge infrastructure.
• Supabase: Secure database and user authentication.
• OpenAI: Large Language Model provider. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train or improve models by default unless a customer explicitly opts in. Some abuse-monitoring or retention settings may still apply depending on the API feature and account configuration.
• Polar: Subscription management and payment processing.
